UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s Appoints New Director Of PACE Operations – Siouxland PACE

UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s is pleased to announce the appointment of Joni Ogden, Director of PACE Operations in the Sioux City Region. Most recently, she has served as the Executive Director for Whispering Creek Senior Living.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Joni to the Siouxland PACE team,” says Matt Swanstrom, executive director of UnityPoint Health PACE. “With her extensive experience in elderly care, we are confident that she will bring valuable leadership and insights to our services.”

Ogden worked eight years with UnityPoint Health in Sioux City serving in multiple roles including Social Work Care Coordinator, Manager of Care Coordination and Palliative Care and as Director of Post-Acute Care Strategy, Care Coordination, Palliative Care, Hospitalist Program, Spiritual Care, and Diabetic Education Center. Ogden will return to UnityPoint Health Monday, July 10.

“I am so excited to begin this journey at Siouxland PACE,” says Ogden. “I look forward to working with the PACE team to provide compassionate and personalized care to our participants and their families.”

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Northern Iowa and her Master of Arts in Human Services from Bellevue University.

Odgen joins a well-versed team of specialists at Siouxland PACE. Operated by UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s, the facility has been open since 2008 and currently serves 245 participants and their families.
