UnityPoint Health – Sioux City Announces 2023 Employee Of The Year

UnityPoint Health – Sioux City is honored to announce Jzar Templin as the Employee of the Year for 2023. Templin was recognized for this award during an award ceremony at UnityPoint – St. Luke’s. This award is one held in the highest regard and given to deserving team members annually through a vote open to all team members in the Sioux City region.

“Jzar is a wonderful asset to the UnityPoint Health – Sioux City team,” says Jane Arnold, UnityPoint Health – Sioux City President. “He goes above and beyond and has consistently showcased our FOCUS values throughout his career at St. Luke’s.”

Templin works at the hospital as a culinary services manager in the nutritional food services department. Fellow team members describe him as a leader and goes above and beyond to help others. Templin consistently goes the extra mile to ensure patients with special dietary needs receive their meals promptly and accurately. He is always ready to lend a hand wherever assistance is required.

Along with a beautiful set of roses, Templin was awarded a commemorative plaque and a special gift for receiving this recognition from St. Luke’s.
