UnityPoint Clinic Welcomes new pediatric infectious disease doctor

Ashlesha Kaushik, MD, has joined UnityPoint Clinic® Pediatric Infectious Disease – Sergeant Bluff. UnityPoint Clinic is part of UnityPoint Health® which also includes UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s and UnityPoint at Home®.

Dr. Kaushik received her Doctor of Medicine from Sawai Man Singh Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. She completed her residency in Pediatrics from St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center (Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University), Paterson, NJ and fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases from University of Texas Southwestern, Children's Medical Center of Dallas, Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Kaushik is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics: Pediatrics; American Board of Pediatrics: Pediatric Infectious Diseases; and Healthcare Epidemiology, Infection Control and Antimicrobial Stewardship: Society of Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA).

UnityPoint Clinic Pediatric Infectious Disease is a new service provided to children for the treatment and prevention of infectious diseases, such as new and reoccurring infections, MRSA, HIV, immunizations and travel medicine.
