Tiffany Lawrence Named To Becker’s Women HospitalPresidents And Ceos To Know

Tiffany Lawrence

Tiffany Lawrence, Sanford Health Fargo president and CEO, was named to the 2024 edition of Becker’s Hospital Review’s “Women hospital presidents and CEOs to know” list.

The presidents and CEOs featured on this list are responsible for growing their organizations, fostering positive workforce cultures, expanding services and facilities, increasing provider and patient satisfaction levels and more. This list honors women executives for their dedication to bettering their organizations for patients and providers alike.

Lawrence has been with Sanford Health for 28 years, becoming president and CEO in March 2022. She is responsible for overseeing North Dakota’s largest health care provider and employer, managing more than 10,200 employees. As president and CEO, Lawrence has worked with her leadership team to increase access to state-of-the-art health care in the Fargo-Moorhead area and surrounding rural communities by introducing new specialized programs, opening new facilities, having specialty clinicians provide outreach services and adding virtual care options. Under her leadership, Sanford Fargo continues to be home to several unique services and programs in North Dakota, including being home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center, Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center in the state.

“I am humbled to be recognized alongside some of the best female leaders in health care in the country,” said Lawrence. “While being named to this list is an honor, the real recognition should go to our leadership team, clinicians, nurses and other support staff who have helped make world-class, close-to-home care a reality for the Fargo region. Our employees are the backbone of our organization, and they work tirelessly to provide our communities with the health care they deserve.”

The Becker’s Hospital Review editorial team accepted nominations for this list and curated it to highlight the great work of women presidents and CEOs from hospitals across the nation. The full list of nominations can be found here.
