The Stars Will Align For Make-A-Wish Nebraska’s Annual Kearney Evening Of Wishes Gala

The Make-A-Wish Nebraska Annual Kearney Evening of Wishes gala, presented by The Home Agency and the Jim and Sharri Baldonado Family, will be held on Thursday, August 18th at 5:00 PM at the Younes Conference Center. The theme this year is When Stars Align.

During the event, Make-A-Wish Nebraska will share some amazing wish stories, and attendees will be able to help give local wish kids hope for a better tomorrow by donating and bidding on auction items throughout the evening.

Despite the challenges caused by COVID-19, Make-A-Wish Nebraska never stopped granting wishes. They continue to grant non-travel wishes like campers, play structures, hot tubs, room redos, shopping sprees, and playhouses. Wishes never stopped, because hope is essential. 

“We are excited to once again to be hosting our Evening of Wishes gala,” said Brigette Young, Make-A-Wish Nebraska president and CEO. “Despite all the challenges the world has faced over the past couple of years, we have remained focused on our vision of granting the wish of every eligible child in Nebraska. Our theme this year is ‘When Stars Align’ in honor of the local community and our supporters who have rallied together to ensure we can continue granting wishes.”
