The Midwest Neurosurgical Society And South Dakota State Orthopaedic Society Meetings Both Held In Siouxland For August 2022

CNOS recently hosted the Annual Midwest Neurosurgical Society Business Meeting, providing practicing Neurosurgeons, Neurosurgical Residents, and nurses with current information in selected areas pertaining to Neurosurgery. CNOS also had practicing Orthopaedic Surgeons speaking at the Orthopaedic Society Meeting. Both events took place on the same day; the Midwest Neurosurgical Society Meeting at the Dakota Dunes Country Club and the Orthopaedic Society Meeting at the Warrior Hotel downtown Sioux City.

Dr. Hendrik Klopper, a Neurosurgeon with CNOS, has been the President of the Midwest Neurosurgical Society over the past year and emceed the event. Included in the list of attendees was Keynote speaker, Dr. Alex Valadka, Chief of Neurological Surgery for the Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas, TX, among many other residents from across the Midwest.

The South Dakota State Orthopaedic Society Meeting, also an annual event, is held to promote the arts and sciences of Orthopaedic medicine, protect and improve the health of the public, provide leadership and advocacy in the field of quality Orthopaedic medical care, and protect the healthcare interests of the Orthopaedic medical community in South Dakota. Dr. Brian Johnson, MD, Dr. Justin Deans, DO, and Dr. Daniel Nelson, MD, all Orthopaedic Surgeons at CNOS, spoke at the event.
