Essentia Health To Open State-Of-The-Art New Clinic In Lisbon

Essentia Health is excited to announce that on Monday, Aug. 28, our new clinic will open in downtown Lisbon. The building is located on the site of the current Essentia Health-Lisbon Clinic at 819 Main St.

The 6,000-square-foot clinic is three times the size of the existing facility and includes nine exam rooms (all of which will be telehealth-capable), one procedure room, increased office space and an expansion of lab and radiology services. The larger clinic provides room for an additional family medicine physician and equipment upgrades, allowing us to better meet the needs of the local community.

"This is so exciting,” said Dr. Tanya Diegel, division chair of primary care at Essentia. “Essentia’s on-going commitment to rural health care and offering services close to home is second to none. Our providers are anxious to continue delivering high-quality care in this beautiful new building."

Construction of the $3.3 million project started in fall 2022.

“Our current clinic building has been in existence all my life, so it will be a little bittersweet for me when it disappears,” said family medicine specialist Katie Tanner, a Lisbon native. “But this will be quickly over shadowed by the excitement of what our new clinic will be able to offer our patients, including improved parking and accessibility in and outside of the building, as well as expanded services in lab and radiology. We are very excited and have enjoyed watching this beautiful facility develop over the last year.”

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for this fall, following the removal of the former clinic.

Essentia Health has served Lisbon and the surrounding areas since 2008.
