Whooping Cough Cases Surge: HHS Reports Threefold Increase Since 2023

As of Oct. 23, North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) has reported 73 cases of pertussis (also known as “whooping cough”) so far in 2024, compared to 17 cases in all of 2023.
