South Dakota has the 4th Biggest Increase in Unemployment Claims Due to Coronavirus, Study Finds

To identify which states’ workforces have been hurt the most by COVID-19, personal finance site WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia based on increases in unemployment claims. They used this data to rank the most impacted states in both the weeks of May 11 and overall since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis on March 16.
