CHI Health Good Samaritan Again Awarded 5 Stars By CMS
CHI Health Good Samaritan, for the second consecutive year, received the highest achievement possible from The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). On July 27, CMS updated its Care Compare website with new 2021 data for Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings. Good Samaritan was one of only six acute care hospitals in Nebraska, and the only acute care hospital west of Lincoln, to receive a five stars rating.
CHI Health St. Francis Foundation To Award $44,050 To Local Fire And Rescue And Stroke Support
CHI Health St. Francis Foundation will award ten area fire and rescue departments and a stroke education program $44,050 in grant funding on Friday, Aug. 5 at the hospital. The majority of the funds, $41,242, were made possible by the Foundation’s annual premier fundraiser–Ticket to Win.
