Patients in the region soon will have expanded access to advanced cancer imaging close to home. When the Mead Family Cancer Center opens Nov. 9, patients will be able to receive positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) in-house at Columbus Community Hospital.

CHI St. Alexius Health has invested in a Tomography-Computed Tomography (PET/CT) imaging system to add to its Radiology Services. This will allow St. Alexius will be the first to offer this service to the region in Bismarck and Williston as the high-tech images capture changes at the cellular level — identifying diseases like cancer — in their earliest stages.
