LRC Hosts 16th Annual Walk for Mental Health Awareness
On Friday, October 10 the Lincoln Regional Center (LRC) will host its 16th Annual Walk for Mental Health Awareness. The walk unites individuals with lived experience and care providers in accessing resources in the community. LRC strives to promote accurate information about mental health challenges, uphold individuals as people instead of a diagnosis, and promote mental healthcare and resources for all Nebraskans.
Light Up the Night 5K for Mental Health Set for Sept. 5 – Register Online by Aug. 26
Registration is now open for Light Up the Night 5K Walk/Run on Friday, Sept. 5 at Yanney Park in Kearney. Coordinated by CHI Health Richard Young Behavioral Health, the 12th annual Glow Race and Family Fun Night for Mental Health event raises community awareness, encourages resiliency and supports advocacy for emotional, psychological and social well-being.
