Iowa Hospital Association Introduces Middle, High School Students to In-Demand Health Care Careers During National Hospital Week

The Iowa Hospital Association, with the Iowa Department of Education, hosted Health Sciences Career Day in Iowa on Wednesday, May 15. Held during National Hospital Week, the live, virtual event focused on building the workforce of the future by making young Iowans aware of six high-demand health care occupations across the state: physician, nurse, radiology technologist, respiratory therapist, lab technologist and behavioral health care.
