Affordable Radon Test Kits Now Available in Dickinson County
January is National Radon Action Month, a reminder for Dickinson County residents to test their homes for radon, which is a naturally occurring radioactive gas found in the ground. It can enter homes through cracks in foundations and other openings. Radon has no smell, taste, or color, making testing the only way to know if it is present.
Preventing Tickborne Diseases
With the first ticks of the year already being spotted in the state, North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) is asking North Dakotans to be aware of ticks and the diseases they carry including Lyme disease, anaplasmosis and Rocky Mountain spotted fever.

Each January, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognizes National Radon Action Month to help educate the public on the importance of radon testing as a vital step to prevent the harmful impact of exposure.
