HRMC and SDSU Extension Launch Innovative Diabetes Prevention Pilot with $15,000 Grant
Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) and South Dakota State University (SDSU) Extension are teaming up to tackle diabetes in Huron through the innovative Better Choices, Better Health® SD Diabetes Self-Management Program. With a $15,000 grant from the South Dakota Department of Health, HRMC's community health workers are leading the charge to improve diabetes education and prevention across diverse cultures.
