Survey Results Award Lindsay Medical Clinic a Perfect Score

Lindsay Medical Clinic, a primary care clinic dedicated to serving the  community since August 2022, is pleased to announce that it achieved a zero-deficiency rating  during a recent survey conducted by The Compliance Team. 

This achievement shows that the clinic fully complies with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid  Services Conditions for Certification and The Compliance Team's rural health clinic exemplary  provider standards. 

Lindsay Medical Clinic is now officially designated as a Rural Health Clinic, enabling it to expand its services and better serve the community's needs. It is a community-driven health care  facility established through a partnership between the Lindsay Area Investment Club and the  hospital. Recognizing the need for accessible local health care, the club sought to bring  essential services such as vaccinations, wellness checks and physicals closer to home for  community members. 

“We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment,” said Chantel Sempek, the practice manager for Lindsay Medical Clinic. “Our team has worked diligently for months leading up to the survey,  ensuring everything was in place to demonstrate our commitment to providing high-quality  health care services to our community. This zero-deficiency rating is a testament to the team’s dedication and hard work.” 

The survey process involved a staff meeting; a comprehensive tour of the clinic; and an in depth review of the clinic’s policies, personnel records, patient health records and overall  clinical processes. Surveyors also interviewed staff members so they could assess their  knowledge and adherence to established protocols. 

“It was a privilege to partner with The Compliance Team,” said Korie Whitmore, director of  clinics for Columbus Community Hospital. “Receiving this accreditation ensures that we provide the highest quality of care for our patients and community.”

Dr. Vilma Rodriguez-Cline, a doctor at the clinic, echoed that sentiment: “I believe this  achievement is a testament to the outstanding teamwork within our clinic. We encourage you  to come and experience the exceptional care we offer!”
