Starr’s Artwork Featured at CHI Health Good Samaritan

The Walkway Gallery at CHI Health Good Samaritan is hosting a new exhibit by Nebraska artist Chuck Starr. The display, which continues through July, features digital photography that combines modern techniques with the artist’s enduring love of the outdoors.

“I’ve always been drawn to the quiet beauty of natural spaces. That connection shapes my work, especially my focus on wildlife and bird photography—capturing those fleeting ‘special moments’ when everything aligns through the lens,” says Starr.  “In recent years, I’ve expanded my creative interests to include artificial imaging and the enhancement of old, recovered film. Restoring these images presents a unique challenge, but also a rewarding way to bring forgotten memories back to life.”

Since 2008, the gallery at Good Samaritan has offered regional artists display space and provided a place of respite for those walking the hospital's halls.
