Erin Dalziel, RT(R), CMPE, CPHRM, CPHQ, brings extensive healthcare experience to her role on the Iowa Healthcare Leaders Association (IHLA) board. As Risk Manager at Mercy Medical Center Cedar Rapids, Dalziel combines hands-on clinical knowledge with advanced healthcare management expertise.
Beginning her healthcare journey as a Radiologic Technologist in Interventional Radiology, Dalziel's career path led her into Healthcare Risk Management, where she has worked for nearly 14 years. Her commitment to professional growth is evident through her multiple certifications, including Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE), Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
Dalziel's leadership has been pivotal to IHLA's evolution, particularly during her tenure as President when she successfully guided the organization through its transition away from the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Her continued dedication to IHLA is demonstrated through her active involvement in various committees, where she continues to serve and shape the organization's future.
As a Past President and current board member, Dalziel's wealth of experience and continued commitment to healthcare excellence continues to strengthen IHLA's mission of enhancing healthcare services in Iowa.
When not focused on healthcare leadership, Dalziel cherishes time with her family, particularly during their adventures to one of their favorite destinations - Disneyland.
