Join a faculty with wide-ranging and diverse interests that have come together to teach more than 350 graduates, two-thirds of whom enter rural practice! We are a well-established 9-9-9 program, founded just four years after our specialty was born. Combined, our faculty provide full-scope family medicine, including clinic, hospital care, obstetrics, and procedures. In addition, faculty teach and mentor residents, design curriculum, and have the autonomy to pursue areas of passion within family medicine. Qualified candidates must be a board-certified or board-eligible family physician able to be licensed in the State of South Dakota.

Clinical Medical Director
The Sioux Falls Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking candidates for the Clinic Medical Director. The Medical Director is the lead clinician in charge of all aspects of outpatient care services including quality improvement and financial excellence at the Center for Family Medicine residency clinic. The Medical Director will also serve in the education of family medicine resident physicians and assist in curriculum development.
The Medical Director monitors clinical performance and works closely with the clinic manager to ensure medical services and operations are in compliance with applicable regulatory and licensing agencies and is responsible for implementing, reviewing, and developing clinic protocols, performance objectives, productivity and compliance benchmarks, and workflow planning.
This is an outpatient position, but inpatient call or obstetrical care can be considered for additional compensation. This is a full-time, exempt position.
