Sanford Worthington Clinic Welcomes Pediatrician

Chioma Osemwegie, MD, has joined Sanford Worthington Clinic as a pediatrician to offer care to children of all ages. She specializes in newborn care, well child exams, sports physicals, minor respiratory and gastrointestinal illnesses, and pediatric asthma.

Dr. Osemwegie attended medical school at the University of Nigeria in Enugu. She continued her education with her residency at Woodhull Medical & Mental Health Center in New York. She’s board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, singing, and cooking.

“As a pediatrician, I strive to offer compassionate care close to home while listening intently to my patients’ needs,” said Dr. Osemwegie. “I’m proud to join the Sanford Worthington family to provide patient-centered medical care to children in the surrounding communities.”
