Sanford Worthington Clinic Expanding Acute Care Clinic Hours

Starting Nov. 15, Sanford Worthington Clinic will be expanding its acute care clinic hours to improve access for patients during cold and flu season.

The new acute care hours at the Sanford Worthington Clinic will be:

  • Monday – Friday

    • 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

  • Saturday

    • 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

  • Sunday

    • 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

“As cold and flu season ramps up, we’re taking necessary steps to ensure our patients have easy access to medical care,” said Reed Fricke, clinic director at Sanford Worthington Clinic. “Patients can simply walk into the clinic during these designated times and be checked out the same day instead of scheduling an appointment for acute care needs.”

The acute care clinic treats urgent care needs without an appointment, including:

  • Cold or flu-like symptoms, including fevers

  • Cuts or minor burns

  • Earaches

  • Minor fractures, strains or sprains

  • Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea

  • Pink, itchy eyes

  • Rashes

  • Urinary tract infections
