Sanford Welcomes New Family And Sports Medicine Physician To Minot 

JoLynn Azure, M.D., has joined the family medicine team at Sanford Health Highway 2 Clinic.

Originally from Minot, North Dakota, Dr. Azure received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and fulfilled residency work in family medicine at the University of North Dakota in Minot, North Dakota.

She also completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Altru Family Medicine Residency in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and holds board certifications from the American Board of Family Medicine in family medicine and sports medicine.

Dr. Azure provides care for patients of all ages, including:

  • Annual wellness visits

  • Behavioral health care

  • Treatment for skin conditions

  • Diagnostic and ultrasound-guided joint injections

  • Vaccinations

  • Diabetes education and management

  • Concussion management

  • Sports physicals

  • and Primary care during marathons and sporting events

The Sanford Bismarck region provides health care to central and western North Dakota, eastern Montana and northern South Dakota. It includes 21 clinics in Bismarck, Mandan, Minot, Dickinson and Watford City, as well as a Level II trauma center located in Bismarck.
