Sanford Wahpeton to Host Flu Immunization Clinics

Sanford Health Wahpeton, 333 2nd Ave. N., is now offering the flu vaccination to patients 6 months and older.

Sanford Wahpeton Clinic is hosting flu vaccine events on the following dates:

  • Thursday, Sept. 18, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. for those 65-years-old and older and 3 to 5 p.m. for those 64-years-old and younger

  • Thursday, Sept. 25, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. for those 65-years-old and older and 3 to 5 p.m. for those 64-years-old and younger

  • Thursday, Oct. 2,  from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. for those 65-years-old and older and 3 to 5 p.m. for those 64-years-old and younger

  • Thursday, Oct. 9, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. for those 65-years-old and older and 3 to 5 p.m. for those 64-years-old and younger

  • Thursday, Oct. 16, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. All ages welcome.

  • Friday, Oct. 17, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. All ages welcome.

Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Please visit mysanfordchart.org to schedule your vaccine or call 701-251-6000 to make an appointment.

Adults should wear a shirt with sleeves that can easily be rolled up and bring an insurance card as most insurances are accepted.

A flu vaccine can protect the public from getting sick and protect the people around them. The CDC recommends annual flu vaccines for everyone 6 months and older, especially those at higher risk of complications including pregnant women, older adults and young children.
