Sanford Valley City Introduces Two New Healthcare Providers

Andrew Herting, MD

Sanford Valley City welcomes two new providers who offer specialized services, enhancing patient care for surrounding communities.

Andrew Herting, MD, is an internal medicine physician specializing in primary care, hospital care and addiction medicine. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of North Dakota.

Heather M. Pautz, LMSW, MSW, is an integrated health counselor. She provides short-term counseling on-site and via telehealth for children, adolescents and adults. Her areas of focus include adjustment disorders, anxiety, depressive disorders, traumatic stress, grief and loss and relationship concerns. She is a graduate of the University of North Dakota.

“We are committed to growing our team to better serve Valley City and the surrounding communities,” said Bob Hagen, Sanford Valley City clinic director. “Dr. Herting and Heather bring valuable expertise that will help us meet the diverse health needs of our rural communities.”
