Sanford Health Introduces Reserve My Spot at Walk-In Clinics
Sanford Health is making it easier and more convenient for patients to access same-day care with the launch of Reserve My Spot, a new online scheduling option available through My Sanford Chart at select walk-in locations.
The new feature allows patients to reserve their place in line before arriving at a clinic, helping reduce time spent waiting and providing greater flexibility when seeking care for non-emergency illnesses and injuries. It is especially convenient for busy families, allowing parents to save a spot after work, on the way home or between children's activities and sporting events, making it easier to fit care into their schedules.
Using Reserve My Spot, patients can select a clinic location, answer a few questions about their condition and choose an estimated arrival time. Patients can also opt in to receive text updates about their expected wait time before arriving at the clinic.
"We know convenience matters to our patients," said Ashley Herauf, clinic director, Sanford Bismarck. "Reserve My Spot gives patients more control over their care experience by allowing them to check in online and better plan their visit while still receiving the high-quality care they expect from Sanford Health."
Patients do not need a My Sanford Chart account to use the feature. Individuals without an account will be prompted to complete a brief registration form to reserve their place in line.
While patients may reserve their spot online, care teams will continue to prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition to ensure everyone receives the appropriate level of care as quickly and safely as possible.
