Sanford Minot Welcomes Familiar Face

Dr. Ugobi received his medical degree from All Saints University School of Medicine in Rosenau, Dominica and the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine in St. Maarten. He completed his pediatric residency at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich. and a nine-month pediatric neurology fellowship at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

As a board certified pediatrician, Dr. Ugobi provides expert care for children and adolescents as they grow and change. He specializes in general practices, minor illnesses and injuries, chronic and complex health issues, sports physicals and wellness visits.

Dr. Ugobi believes care should be empathetic, holistic and individualized, with an emphasis on prevention when possible. He also believes quality and safety are paramount pillars of care, and educating and empowering families to advocate for their children is an integral part of pediatric care.
