Sanford Luverne Clinic Welcomes Behavioral Health Counselor 

Gracie Ode, licensed graduate social worker (LGSW) and behavioral health counselor, recently joined the Sanford Luverne Clinic. As a behavioral health counselor, she helps patients manage stress, anxiety and will help those struggling with substance use disorders.  

Gracie received her Master of Social Work from the University of South Dakota with a minor in addiction studies, as well as a specialization in child welfare. She previously worked at the South Dakota State Penitentiary as a chemical dependency counselor. 

“My passion is to help patients accomplish their goals as well as create a comfortable space for exploration to enhance their potential,” said Gracie Ode. “We will work together to assess patients’ mental health needs and meet together for therapy sessions to work towards the goals they create.”
