Sanford Health Leaders Invited to Deliver Keynote on Value-Based Care at Modern Healthcare Briefing

Executives from Sanford Health will present the keynote address at Modern Healthcare’s Value-Based Care Virtual Briefing June 9, which will convene health care executives from leading health systems across the country. The briefing will explore how leaders can navigate the value-based care landscape and achieve positive results for their bottom line and the communities they serve.

Matt Hocks, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Nathan Peterson, executive vice president and chief strategy and development officer, and John Snyder, president of Sanford Health Plan, will share insights into how the organization is prioritizing patient outcomes through value-based care. The conversation will also highlight Sanford’s landmark $350 million virtual care initiative, which aims to transform health care for rural and underserved communities across the upper Midwest. Virtual care serves a significant need and purpose as Sanford Health delivers care across 250,000 miles with nearly two-thirds of patients living in rural areas.

“We look forward to the opportunity to discuss how Sanford Health’s integrated system approach benefits our communities by providing access to health care and insurance, while driving innovation and improving the overall health of the populations we serve,” said Hocks. “Our priority is to break down health care and insurance coverage barriers for rural communities by offering virtual solutions to meet the needs of our patients and members.”

“This connectivity has the potential to be a game-changer for the industry,” added Snyder. “We are focused on keeping people healthy and well, and out of the hospital by equipping our members with innovative services to improve health and manage chronic conditions.”

“We remain committed to removing barriers to access and addressing health disparities by extending care, coverage and services – ensuring that patients benefit from the right care, at the right time, in the right place no matter where they live or the health challenges they face,” Peterson said.

Executives, care providers and other decision makers from hospitals, clinics, health systems, insurance companies and managed care organizations are encouraged to register for the free event.
