Sanford Fargo Offers Doc Talk Focused on Heart-Healthy Nutrition

Sanford Health Fargo is hosting a Doc Talk discussion to educate the public about heart-healthy diets.

The event is on Thursday, Feb. 19, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. inside the Fargo Parks Sports Center at the Sanford Sports Complex, 6100 38th St. S., Fargo. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.

What you eat not only impacts your daily energy levels, but it also shapes your heart. Sanford Fargo dietitians and diabetes educators will discuss how different diets impact your heart health and also give you the tools to develop eating habits that support heart health. Social hour begins at 4:30 p.m., and the discussion starts at 5 p.m. Panel members will include:

  • Brittany Twiss, diabetes educator

  • Phil Shermoen, dietitian

  • Halli Heimbuch, dietitian
