Sanford Expands Nephrology Care to Minot
Starting May 12, Muhammad Saleem, MD, nephrologist, will travel from Bismarck to Sanford Health Highway 2 Clinic for outreach and will see patients the second Thursday of every month.
Dr. Saleem currently treats patients at the Seventh and Thayer Clinic in Bismarck specializing in kidney care and high blood pressure treatments. His experience includes treating patients for:
Acute kidney injury
Chronic kidney disease
Genetic kidney diseases
High blood pressure
Kidney stones
Electrolyte and acid-base disorders
Hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis
Dr. Saleem received his medical degree at the FMH College of Medicine and Dentistry in Pakistan and completed his Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology Fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University in Augusta, GA. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
