Sanford Bismarck Offers Stroke Clinic for Long-Term Recovery
To help meet the needs of recovery for stroke patients, Sanford Bismarck offers its Stroke Comprehensive Treatment Clinic, a specialized program designed to support long-term recovery through a multidisciplinary, patient-centered approach. The next Stroke Comprehensive Treatment Clinic is scheduled for Aug. 13, 2026.
The clinic brings together a team of rehabilitation experts who provide personalized assessments, education and recommendations tailored to each survivor's unique challenges and goals. The program focuses on helping patients improve independence, maximize recovery and enhance overall quality of life.
"Our goal is to support stroke survivors throughout their recovery journey," said Cori Radke, OTR/L, CLT, occupational therapist, Sanford Bismarck. "By identifying ongoing challenges and connecting patients with specialized resources and recommendations, we can help them regain confidence, function and independence."
The clinic addresses a wide range of post-stroke concerns, including:
Mobility, balance and movement
Communication, swallowing and cognitive skills
Vision and perception
Daily living activities and independence
Return to work or school
Emotional well-being and recovery
Stroke survivors may benefit from a comprehensive evaluation even months or years after their stroke, as new challenges can emerge over time and additional opportunities for improvement may be identified.
