Rock from the Heart Unveils 2026 Aortic Ed Sessions and Benefit Concert Weekend

Rock from the Heart is bringing its powerful blend of education, awareness, and  music back to the Twin Cities for Heart Month 2026. The two-day event will take place February 13– 14, 2026, at Canterbury Event Center in Shakopee, Minnesota.

The weekend kicks off Friday, February 13, with the Aortic Ed Sessions and Survivor Recognition  Dinner, featuring medical experts, patient advocates, and survivors sharing stories and updates in  aortic and heart valve disease. A special highlight will honor couples who have navigated aortic  disease together, celebrating love, resilience, and heart health on Valentine’s weekend.

On Saturday, February 14, the celebration continues with the Rockin’ Hearts Casino Night and  Benefit Concert, featuring live performances by The HYPE! and The V-Gees. Guests will enjoy an  evening of rock music, casino-style fun, and an exclusive Rockin’ Hearts Experience that includes  early entry, photo ops, appetizers, and limited-edition swag.

Throughout the weekend, Rock from the Heart will shine a spotlight on Heart Valve Disease  Awareness Day (February 22) and the importance of early detection, family history, and ongoing  education to save lives.

“We’re reaching audiences beyond traditional medical settings by combining education with the  universal language of music,” said Amy Johnson, Rock from the Heart Co-Founder. “This isn’t a  gala or a black-tie affair—it’s real people coming together in an environment that feels comfortable,  authentic, and fun. By blending education with rock music, we’re opening doors to conversations  about heart health that might not happen otherwise.”

About Rock from the Heart

Rock from the Heart is a Minnesota-based nonprofit dedicated to saving lives through awareness  and education about aortic and heart valve disease. The organization provides patient and family  support, hosts annual educational symposiums, community heart screenings, and benefit  concerts, and partners with hospitals, health systems, and industry leaders to amplify awareness  and inspire action.

From disco lights to arena nights — Rock from the Heart: A Concert for Aortic Health  Awareness takes you on a two-decade musical journey that celebrates life, love, and the  rhythm that keeps every heart beating strong.

Featuring The HYPE! and the V Gees

Rock from the Heart combines the power of music with a life-saving mission — raising awareness  and education about aortic and heart valve disease through rock ’n’ roll that moves both hearts and  crowds. This year’s concert delivers the ultimate soundtrack of two unforgettable decades — from  the disco grooves of the 1970s to the arena-shaking anthems of the 1980s.

THE V-GEES

Kicking off the night, The V-Gees bring the sparkle, soul, and sisterhood of the 1970s to the Rock  from the Heart stage. Featuring three dynamic female vocalists, they deliver a vibrant tribute to  the biggest pop and disco hits of the decade. Their harmonies, energy, and flair will have the crowd  dancing and singing along from the very first song.

THE HYPE!

Closing out the night, The Hype! takes the stage with the Ultimate 80’s Rock Tribute, cranking up  the volume for a high-energy set packed with the biggest hits of Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Aerosmith,  Poison, and Mötley Crüe. With powerhouse vocals, shredding guitar solos, and that larger-than-life  80s attitude, The Hype! delivers an electrifying performance that captures the sound, style, and  swagger of the decade that defined rock.
