Rachel DeHoogh Continues Career at Essentia Health as Nurse Practitioner

After working as a registered nurse at Essentia Health-Fargo for many years, Rachel DeHoogh has furthered her education to become an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing as a hospitalist.

“Essentia Health has been a wonderful place to start and continue my nursing career,” said DeHoogh. “It only felt right to continue my NP career here. The colleagues, teamwork and family-like environment made me want to pursue an advanced practice position at Essentia.”

DeHoogh received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and received her doctorate from North Dakota State University in Fargo.

“I will treat each patient as I would want my family treated while hospitalized,” said DeHoogh. “I will advocate for patients and families each day. I look forward to the opportunity to provide care.”
