Prairie Lakes Welcomes Physician Assistant to General Surgery Team

Olivia Lepke, PA-C

Prairie Lakes Healthcare System welcomes licensed and board-certified Physician Assistant, Olivia Lepke, PA-C, to the General Surgery Clinic staff. She joins Dr. Greg Gerrish, Dr. Kristopher Johnson, and Dr. Jacob Schaeffer in the expert surgical care for patients with conditions affecting the abdomen, breast, skin, and soft tissues.

Lepke received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. She completed several of her clinical rotations in the Watertown area between Prairie Lakes Dermatology Clinic, Prairie Lakes Brown Clinic, and Human Service Agency in addition to facilities in Brookings, Sioux Falls, and Canton, SD. Lepke received her undergraduate degree in Biology, in Honoribus, with a minor in both chemistry and psychology from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD. She grew up in Madison, SD and recently relocated to Watertown with her husband with whom she enjoys spending time with their new puppy, traveling, and hiking. Lepke always knew she wanted to go into healthcare because of the relationships and trust she would build with her patients.

Lepke shares, “I’m honored to begin my career in Watertown with the General Surgery Clinic. Working alongside Dr. Gerrish, Dr. Johnson, and Dr. Schaeffer, I look forward to supporting patients through their surgical care — from consultation to recovery. It’s exciting to join a team so dedicated to providing excellent care close to home.”
