Prairie Lakes Appoints New Director of Patient Access

Prairie Lakes Healthcare System (PLHS) is pleased to welcome Alex Ammann as the new Director of Patient Access. In this role, Ammann will lead the operations of hospital and clinic patient access services, including financial clearance, admitting, reception, and scheduling.

Ammann brings over seven years of leadership experience in the retail sector, most recently serving as Store Director at Target in Watertown. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Arts and Sciences from South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D., and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Watertown Area Community Foundation. Her leadership skills and passion for people make her a strong addition to the PLHS team.

Ammann has lived in Watertown for most of her life and currently resides here with her husband, Dustin, and two children, Thielen and Bostyn. In her free time, she enjoys group fitness classes, golfing, and spending time with my family.

“I am honored to join the Prairie Lakes team and look forward to contributing to an organization so deeply committed to serving our community,” said Ammann. “I am incredibly excited to step into this role as Patient Access Director.”
