Podiatry Specialist Emily Greenstein Joins Essentia Health-South University Clinic

The Essentia Health-South University Clinic is excited to welcome Emily Greenstein, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in podiatry.

“The No. 1 thing that drew me to Essentia Health was the working environment and leadership,” said Greenstein. “Essentia listens to its providers and wants to work together to provide the best outcomes for patients.”

Greenstein received her medical education from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“I chose nursing because I knew I wanted to take care of people and make a difference in patients’ lives,” explained Greenstein. “I have been working in wound care for the past 14 years. Wound care is a chronic problem that a lot of people deal with and it’s an area where I can make a difference. As part of the podiatry department, I’ll be able to focus on limb preservation, which is a true passion of mine. Save a leg, save a life!”
