Prairie Lakes Appoints New Director of Facilities

Prairie Lakes Healthcare System (PLHS) is pleased to welcome Jon Hoffman as the new Director of Facilities Management.

In this role, Hoffman is responsible for planning, directing, supervising, and evaluating all infrastructure and facility operations across PLHS. His duties include leading the facilities team, overseeing construction management for new and remodeled projects, and ensuring the ongoing repair, service, and maintenance of all PLHS facilities to support safe, high-quality patient care.

Hoffman brings nine years of healthcare maintenance experience, including five years in leadership roles. He joins Prairie Lakes from Sanford Canby Medical Center in Canby, Minnesota, where he most recently served as Maintenance Supervisor.

Hoffman attended Minnesota West Community and Technical College where he earned a degree in Electrical Technology. Outside of work, Hoffman enjoys spending time outdoors on his family’s farm and has a long history of community service. He served on the St. Leo City Council beginning in 2016 and has been a member of the St. Leo Volunteer Fire Department since 2013, most recently serving as Fire Chief.
