Prairie Lakes Expands Cardiology Team With New Heart Specialist

Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is proud to welcome Joseph Elliott, MD, FACC, a board-certified interventional cardiologist, to its team of heart specialists. Dr. Elliott provides advanced cardiovascular care at the Prairie Lakes Cardiology Clinic and Cardiac Catheterization Lab, joining a highly skilled team that includes Dr. Ravi Kalaga, Jacklyn Karli, DNP, Travis Erickson, DNP, and Kahley Meyer, PA-C.

With an on-site Cath Lab and a collaborative team of physicians and clinical professionals, Prairie Lakes offers comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of heart conditions, including peripheral vascular disease and cardiac emergencies.

Dr. Elliott grew up in Ohio and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica. Dr. Elliott completed his internal medicine residency at the Canton Medical Education Foundation/Aultman Hospital NEOMED Program in Canton, Ohio, where he also completed fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
