Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Isaac Gerdes as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services. Isaac brings a wealth of experience and a dynamic vision for the future of Pioneer Memorial, ensuring that our facility continues to provide the highest quality care to our communities.
Isaac comes to Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services with an impressive background in healthcare administration, having successfully led various healthcare organizations through periods of significant growth and improvement. Gerdes’s commitment to patient centered care and his innovative approach to healthcare management make him an ideal leader for Pioneer Memorial. Isaac has spent the last eight years as the CEO in Webster, SD running the operations of the Sanford Webster Medical Center and as the Administrator of the Bethesda Home which is a standalone Skilled Nursing Facility with Senior Living Apartments. Melanie Parsons, Pioneer Memorial Board President, states “we are confident that under his guidance, our healthcare system will continue to thrive and advance in its mission to serve our patients through health, healing and the community”. On accepting the position Isaac said “I am excited to join the team and to partner with community and staff as we move forward together”.
Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Lindsey Hauger for her nearly twelve years of dedication and service to the organization. Lindsey has been an integral part of our team, demonstrating unwavering commitment and leadership. Her contributions have been invaluable in shaping the organization’s success for staff and patients. While we will miss her presence in the day-to-day operations, we wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
Isaac will be joining Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services at the end of June and will oversee the transition of the Webster operations. Isaac is married to his wife Alexis, and they have two sons, Jack and Blake, with another little boy due in September.
