PinkFest Returns September 23 to Support Local Cancer Patients
Lexington Regional Health Center (LRHC), KRVN, and Plum Creek Market Place invite the community to attend PinkFest 2026 on Wednesday, September 23, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Plum Creek Market Place in Lexington. This free community event brings together education, entertainment, shopping, food, family activities, and fundraising to support local individuals and families affected by cancer.
PinkFest is designed to raise awareness about breast cancer, encourage early detection and screening, celebrate survivors, and provide valuable health education while raising funds for the Dawson County Care Cancer Fund, which helps local patients facing the financial challenges that often accompany cancer treatment.
"PinkFest is more than an event. It's a chance for our community to come together in support of friends, family members, neighbors, and loved ones impacted by cancer," said Brenna Bartruff, Chief Communications Officer at Lexington Regional Health Center. "Thanks to the partnership between LRHC, KRVN, and Plum Creek Market Place, we are able to provide education, raise awareness, support local businesses, and generate support for a fund that directly benefits local patients."
