Peschong Honored As Huron Regional Medical Center November Exceptional Employee

Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) recently honored Brandon Peschong as the November Exceptional Employee of the Month.

Peschong is an Engineering Technician in the facilities department. Peschong has worked at HRMC for little over one year and was nominated by colleagues for the award. One nomination stated, “Brandon is always a phone call away to help, and doesn’t just help, but does so with a great attitude and an approachable demeanor.”

Another colleague remarked, “Everything Brandon does daily is to help someone.” The nomination continues, “He goes above and beyond to do things correctly the first time and his attitude makes him a joy to work with!”

HRMC’s Exceptional Employee of the Month award recognizes an employee who goes above and beyond to demonstrate the hospital’s values. Employees can be nominated by other coworkers or by a patient or visitor who witnesses exceptional service. A committee of employees from various hospital departments chooses the employee on a monthly basis and an Exceptional Employee of the Year is chosen at year-end from the 12 monthly honorees by the HRMC board of directors.

As November exceptional employee, Peschong received a meal certificate to a local restaurant, a professional photo session and portrait, $50, and a lapel pin.

Upon receiving the award, Peschong expressed, “I like the range of jobs and opportunities we have in the facilities department to contribute to the hospital and do whatever we can to help.”

Peschong who resides in Miller, enjoys spending time with his dogs and wife, Audrey, who is a veterinarian. He is thankful for his wife’s support, noting, “She supports me and my career and I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without her.” Peschong also enjoys outdoor activities such as going for walks and hiking.

Patients or visitors can nominate an exceptional employee by calling 605-353-6539 for a nomination form or via e-mail at hr@huronregional.org.
