New Members Join 2022 Black Hills Playhouse Board Of Directors

Raimondo Genna (Vermillion) and Ken Meirose (Sturgis), have been elected to the Black Hills Playhouse Board of Directors.
Ken Meirose
Raimondo Genna is currently chair, associate professor, and producer for the theatre department at the University of South Dakota. He received his PhD from the University of California, San Diego and is the board president for a non-profit theatre education company called Shakespearience, located in the San Francisco bay area. With over 30 years of theatre directing experience, Rai hopes to help the BHP grow and looks to continue to strengthen the long term relationship between USD Theatre and the Black Hills Playhouse.
Serving as the Operations Manager for Black Hills Energy, Ken Meirose started his career in electric utilities while in the Marine Corps and has been with BHE for 26 years. He currently volunteers for the Sturgis Chamber of Commerce, Mitchell Tech Advisory Board, and Monument Health Network Board, to name a few. Ken was born and raised in Sturgis and is married to his wife Jill. They have two daughters, Lia and Katherine.
New members will be welcomed to the board on July 30 when the board gathers at the Black Hills Playhouse Campus in Custer State Park. The Black Hills Playhouse Board is made up of 23 outstanding leaders from across the region who work to strengthen and preserve the Black Hills Playhouse for future generations.
