Mary Lanning Healthcare Announces 2025 Caring Kind Award Recipient
Laboratory employee Hailey Morrow recently was named the Mary Lanning Healthcare Caring Kind Award recipient for 2025.
A 20-year MLH employee, Morrow, MLS (ASCP) CPHQ, Lab Quality Coordinator, will be recognized, along with other award recipients from across the state, at the Nebraska Hospital Association’s (NHA) Caring Kind luncheon on October 18 in LaVista.
Described as a “great mentor to all staff members and students,” Morrow shares her wealth of knowledge and is always willing to pitch in to help, according to her nomination. Morrow also went above and beyond her normal job in restoring critical testing systems in the lab. While transitioning to her current role, Morrow also trained a staff member, served as a clinic lab manager, worked on her doctorate degree and taught classes for lab students at Central Community College-Hastings.
The NHA describes Caring Kind Award winners as those who are committed to the betterment of their hospitals and health systems, their customers, co-workers and communities. The recipients
