Miranda Mathison Joins Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic to Practice Orthopedic Surgery

The Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic is excited to welcome Miranda Mathison, a certified physician assistant who will practice orthopedic surgery.

“I chose to work at Essentia because I was genuinely impressed by their mission and values, which align with my own professional goals and principles,” said Mathison. “I appreciate how Essentia prioritizes innovation, teamwork and is patient focused, and I feel like I can make an impact here while also continuing to grow both personally and professionally.”

Mathison received her education from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

“I chose to pursue orthopedics because staying active and healthy has always been central to my life,” explained Mathison. “A multi-sport athlete growing up, I also enjoyed watching my daughters play hockey and golf. This long-standing connection to athletics gave me first-hand appreciation for how musculoskeletal injuries can impact performance and quality of life. I want to help athletes and active individuals recover and return to the things they love.”
