MercyOne Dakota Dunes Breast Care Center Announces Updates

The MercyOne Dakota Dunes Breast Care Center is changing hours for the summer, from May 27 to August 29 to provide working patients with more options for appointment times. The updated hours are as follows:

• Monday, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

• Tuesday, 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

• Wednesday, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

• Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

• Friday, 7:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Additionally, the Center is now accepting walk-in patients for baseline or annual mammography screenings. Women who are having breast issues, such as pain, lump, tenderness will need a referral and scheduled for a diagnostic appointment.

Adnan Qalbani, MD, says, “We have not traditionally offered walk-in screenings, but this seems to be a growing need that we would like to meet.”
