McFarland Clinic Welcomes Urologist Steven Thoma, MD

Steven Thoma, MD

McFarland Clinic announces that Steven Thoma, MD, will join the Clinic’s Urology  Department in Ames on March 1. 

As a urologist, Dr. Thoma will provide urological care for adult patients, including diagnosis and  treatment for male and female patients with urological conditions. He will provide screening and  management of urological cancers, robotic and minimally invasive surgical procedures, and  vasectomies. Dr. Thoma is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology. 

Dr. Thoma earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Louisiana Tech University in  Ruston, Louisiana. He received his Doctor of Medicine from LSU Shreveport School of Medicine in  Shreveport, Louisiana, and completed his residency in urology at Louisiana State University Health  Sciences Center.
