Mary Watson, MD Marks 25 Years as Faculty Physician at the Center for Family Medicine and Sioux Falls Family Medicine Residency
Mary Watson, MD
The Center for Family Medicine and Sioux Falls Family Medicine Residency congratulate Dr. Mary Watson for her 25 years of service to their residency program and clinic. Watson, a graduate of the University of South Dakota’s School of Medicine, is a lifelong South Dakota resident who has devoted her life to her patients at the hundreds of family medicine resident physicians she has helped train.
Graduating medical school in 1986, Watson would go on to complete a two year Pathology Residency before completing her Family Medicine residency in 1991 at the Sioux Falls Family Practice Residency. Dr. Watson would then spend nearly a decade in Canton, SD as a primary care physician for the rural South Dakota community. After, she would return to the program that she once graduated from becoming a Faculty Physician at the Sioux Falls Family Medicine Residency on April 26, 2000.
For the last 25 years, Dr. Watson has become an integral part of the program, leading the residency’s Patient Education efforts to educate and inform their patient population. This has allowed Watson to create an invaluable bond with her patients for many, many decades. We would like to thank Dr. Mary Watson for her dedication, compassion, and expertise for the past 25 years at the Center for Family Medicine.
The Center for Family Medicine is devoted to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for the entire family in an educational setting. Our clinic is committed to improving the health of our patients, their families, and our communities.
