Lexington Regional Health Center Earns Spot on Modern Healthcare’s 2026 Best Places to Work List

Lexington Regional Health Center (LRHC) has been selected by Modern  Healthcare as one of the 2026 Best Places to Work in Healthcare, a national recognition  honoring organizations that excel in creating outstanding workplace environments and  supporting their teams.

The complete alphabetical list of this year’s honorees is available on Modern Healthcare’s  website, with final rankings to be announced in a special October issue of Modern  Healthcare magazine.

This recognition is especially meaningful because it is based largely on employee  feedback, reflecting LRHC’s ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive, engaging, and  mission-driven workplace culture.

“At Lexington Regional Health Center, our people are at the heart of everything we do,” said  Jason Douglas, CEO. “This recognition belongs to our entire team, whose dedication,  compassion, and commitment to one another make LRHC a place where both employees  and patients feel supported every day.”

The Best Places to Work in Healthcare award recognizes organizations that empower  employees, value engagement, and create environments where individuals can do their  best work. LRHC’s culture is grounded in teamwork, professional growth, and a shared  commitment to delivering exceptional care to the Lexington community.

“We are incredibly proud of our team and grateful for the honest feedback they provide,”  said Jill Denker, Chief Human Resources Officer. “This recognition reflects a culture built on  respect, collaboration, and a shared commitment to supporting one another so we can  continue providing high-quality care to our patients and community.”

The award program, conducted in partnership with Workforce Research Group, includes a  comprehensive evaluation process featuring an extensive employee survey. Organizations

are assessed on culture, engagement, benefits, leadership, and overall workplace  experience.

LRHC will learn its official ranking and be recognized at the 2026 Best Places to Work in  Healthcare Awards Gala on September 16 in Houston, Texas.
