Low-Carb at Home: Free Community Workshop with Practical Tips – June 19

CHI Health St. Francis, in partnership with the CHI Health Clinic Heart Institute, is offering a free community education session, "Tips and Tricks for a Low Carb Home," on Thursday, June 19 at 6:30 p.m. The session will be held in Conference Room 2/3 at the hospital.

Presented by Anna Fruehling and Kim Kosmicki, the discussion will explore a practical approach to low-carb living for busy families. The engaging duo will share their own strategies, family-tested and cardiologist-approved, for preparing low-carb meals and snacks without sacrificing flavor or convenience.

Following a low-carb diet can lead to benefits such as weight loss, improved blood sugar control and reduced risk factors for heart disease.

This presentation is part of a monthly series focused on heart health and is free and open to the public.
