LifeScape’s “Small Shops, Big Impact” Returns to Support Local Businesses and Community Connections
LifeScape is inviting the community to shop with purpose during its upcoming Small Shops, Big Impact event, taking place May 1st - May 10th. The initiative is designed to support local small businesses across Sioux Falls while advancing LifeScape’s mission of empowering people to live their best life.
The event encourages community members to visit participating local retailers, complete a bingo-style card, and engage with businesses throughout the city. Participants who register will be entered to win a gift card prize, and those who complete their bingo cards will be eligible for a grand prize gift basket featuring items from participating stores. “Collaboration, philanthropy and entrepreneurship have helped make Sioux Falls the vibrant community it is today,” said Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken. “When organizations like LifeScape lead community-driven efforts, they strengthen the spirit of partnership that defines our city. Sioux Falls thrives when we support our entrepreneurs and champion missions that empower every resident to live their best life.”
The event includes a diverse group of small businesses located throughout downtown Sioux Falls, Tea, the Sioux Empire Mall, Bridges on 57th, and Lake Lorraine, creating opportunities for community members to explore and support local shops across multiple neighborhoods. “We saw an opportunity to bring together passionate community members and supporters around a shared goal, creating meaningful impact through connection and collaboration,” said Morgan Berens, Event Coordinator with the LifeScape Foundation. “The event celebrates the power of local businesses while supporting LifeScape’s mission.”
Participating businesses include Makers Exchange, Bloom & Branch, Bella & Birch, Apricot Lane, Urban Threads, Josiah’s Coffeehouse, Say Anything Jewelry, Terra Shepherd Boutique, Mulberry Market, Oh My Cupcakes, and You’ve Been Framed. Visit SmallShopsForLifeScape.org for more information.
